Naming Templates
FilesDesk comes with built-in templates for common file organization tasks, plus support for fully custom patterns.
How Templates Work
A template is a naming pattern built from placeholders like {date}, {category}, and {description}, combined with transformation rules for case, spacing, and formatting. FilesDesk fills in the placeholders using the content it reads from each file, so the same template produces consistent, searchable names across an entire batch.
