FilesDesk offers two subscription tiers plus a one-time Lifetime license.
Subscriptions
- Basic — $8/mo: 500 managed AI credits per month
- Pro — $20/mo: 2,000 managed AI credits per month
1 credit = 1 file name suggestion. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Cancel anytime — you keep access until the end of your billing period.
Lifetime License — $40 one-time
Bring your own API keys (see BYOK setup) or run local AI with Ollama, with no recurring fees and no credit limits. Includes a 3-day money-back guarantee. Licenses are bound to a single device; contact support for a transfer if you upgrade computers.
Using Your Subscription Credits
Important: after subscribing or starting your free trial, open FilesDesk, go to Settings, and select FilesDesk AI as your AI model. This ensures you use your included credits instead of needing your own API keys.
