Simple pricing: two Monthly plans with FilesDesk AI credits, or a one-time Self-Managed license.
What It Is
FilesDesk offers Monthly plans (we run the AI, you use credits) and a Self-Managed license (you bring your own API key or run free local AI). One credit = one AI name suggestion.
How It Helps You

- No waste — failed files aren’t charged; reserved credits are refunded automatically.
- Zero setup — activating a subscription auto-selects FilesDesk AI as your provider.

How Credits Work
- Your credits refresh every month. One credit is one AI name suggestion.
- Every suggestion, including running the same file again, uses one credit. Self-Managed has no credits at all, so you can re-run files as often as you like.
- Automatic renaming pauses at your last credit, so you’re never charged for overage, and waiting files are renamed as soon as credits are added.
Refunds & Devices
The Self-Managed license comes with a 3-day money-back guarantee from the purchase date. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime, and the current billing period isn’t refunded. See the Refund Policy.
The Self-Managed license covers one device; support can transfer it if you change computers. Checkout is handled securely by PayPal.
Not seeing credits used? Check that Settings shows FilesDesk AI as your provider — recent versions select it automatically on activation. See Troubleshooting.
