What It Is
FilesDesk supports multiple AI providers so you can choose by budget, privacy, and hardware. The app’s header always shows which provider and model will process your files.
How It Helps You
- Not locked in — switch providers in Settings at any time.
- Live model lists — cloud providers show the models your account can actually use.
- Free options — local AI (Ollama, LM Studio) and a no-AI Heuristic mode cost nothing per file.

Your license decides availability: subscriptions use FilesDesk AI credits; the Lifetime license unlocks BYOK and local providers. Pick a vision-capable model for image-heavy work.
