Get FilesDesk up and running on your Windows PC or Mac in a few minutes.
System Requirements

- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- 500 MB free disk space
- Internet required for cloud AI features (optional for local AI)
macOS
- macOS 12 (Monterey) or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel — universal build, no Rosetta required
- 4 GB RAM minimum
- 500 MB free disk space
Download & Install on Windows

Get it from the Microsoft Store
Visit the Microsoft Store and click "Get" — the recommended path, with automatic updates.

Install
Installation is automatic. Once complete, FilesDesk appears in your Start menu.

Launch
Open FilesDesk from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.
Download & Install on Mac
Universal build. FilesDesk ships as a universal app with native support for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs — no Rosetta required.

Download the DMG
Visit filesdesk.app/download and click "Download for Mac".

Open and drag to Applications
Double-click the downloaded
.dmg, then drag the FilesDesk icon into your Applications folder. - 3
First launch
Open FilesDesk from Applications or Spotlight. If macOS warns the app is from an unidentified developer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
